If you’re adding an addition to your house, renovating an existing living area or building your dream home from the ground up, one of the first steps is to plan your electrical wiring. RJL Electrical can work with you to determine the amount of power you will need for each room, the number of outlets you will need, and select the proper lighting. Ideally, this should all be done at the planning stage, before any work begins. Each member of our team has the skills, training, and certification to handle any electrical wiring project.

Why Hire a Licensed Electrician?
If you are hiring someone to do electrical work in your home, under Ontario law, they must be a Licensed Electrical Contractor. General handymen and other service providers cannot do electrical work in residences unless they hold an ECRA/ESA licence. If you hire a general contractor, confirm that the electrical work will be done by a licensed subcontractor. A Licensed Electrical Contractor is required to display their ECRA/ESA licence number on their business card, as well as on their estimate & invoice. Learn more about hiring an electrician.
